WHERE IN THE WORLD
COURCHEVEL, FRANCE
With arguably the best snow in decades, the Lillingston team have grabbed every possible opportunity to sneak off to the slopes. Bluebird days and perfect powder has made for some very happy skiers, but for Robyn, our Director of Lifestyle and a loyal Trois Vallées girl, Courchevel was the place to be this season.

THE REASON WHY
THE BEST SNOW IN DECADES.... CAN YOU BLAME ME?
Like so many other families we decided not to ski this Christmas, the snow had been so bad for the past few years and we decided to give it a miss this time, my goodness what an error! This was the first time in 15 years that we hadn’t skied in December so, no surprise that we snapped up the chance to take a last minute trip to celebrate Dad’s 60th birthday!
THE STAR DUST
The Beast of the East did not allow the best start to our trip! After an abortive 18 hours we eventually arrived in Courchevel only to be met by a total white out – our hearts sunk. However, waking up to fresh powder and a bluebird day was enough to make the journey well worth it.
Fresh pastries to start, quality time with family, and a large glass of red to end the day… There’s nothing quite like a ski holiday!

THE WORLD SAID
“Strangely, skiing is the most chilled and relaxing trip despite the fact you exercise all day and your legs are totally exhausted. There’s something about the mountains, the copious amounts of wine and food, the exercise – only made better by this year’s perfect powder!”
