THE GOLDEN TRIANGLE, THAILAND
The Golden Triangle in the North of Thailand combines traditional Thai culture with the jungle, the River Mekong and the incredible conservation effort to protect the Asian elephants. The Four Seasons Golden Triangle is a tented camp in the middle of the jungle where elephants come and join you for breakfast and neighbouring countries Myanmar and Laos are just a short boat ride away. This less-known pocket in the North of this popular destination is certainly one of the more beautiful and unspoilt areas.

The opening of new luxury resort like the Four Seasons coupled with the legendary Thai service means that this largely unexplored region which has masses to offer is a hidden gem. My son adored spotting the vast wildlife surrounding us and a true highlight was the phenomenal elephant sanctuary we visited where conservation of these gentle giants is paramount.
